Life insurance in which the insurer agrees to pay an amount when the policyholder reaches retirement age. Another possibility is to receive a lifelong annuity from that date. It is usually contracted by paying an annual premium that increases according to the policyholder’s financial capacity. With this type of insurance, a guarantee is sought, even if it is minimal, so the amount that the policyholder receives consists of a small fixed amount and a variable share in profits.
